Nash Bash!

Nashville is the second most popular bachelorette trip destination. I have been twice as a member of group trips. For the bachelorette party, I flew into BNA, their international airport. It was very easy to navigate, however I was alone and my flight landed around midnight after a lot of weather delays. It is a long walk from the gate to where the Ubers and Lyft drivers pick you up. Luckily there were a lot of other passengers walking with me so I felt safe. Also, I was extremely grateful I didn't pack a ridiculously heavy bag for that walk. Our Air BnB was a beautiful house which was perfect for large groups, it had plenty of bathrooms, natural light, and a huge kitchen which we hosted a bridal shower brunch in. It wasn’t in the best neighborhood but my Lyft driver was very nice and waited until I got in the house to leave. Since I got in so late, all of the other girls were down on Broadway and I was the only one at the house. I wasn't home alone long before some others trickled in for the night, but our house did have a security system which was reassuring. I was originally supposed to be in Nashville by 7 p.m. and travel delays weren't something I even considered planning for.

We held a bridal shower on Saturday morning and a brunch menu was very affordable and easy to put together. The bride’s mom made amazing homemade waffles, we got a bucket of chicken from KFC (chicken & waffles combo, it was amazing) donuts, bacon, mimosas, and fruit. Some of the other girls drove so we did have a few cars and they were able to pack food so we didn't have to go grocery shopping. The kitchen had everything we needed for food prep and I honestly don't think we checked the kitchen details before booking, we just went for it. After brunch we went shopping at the outlet mall with of course our main mission being new boots. We went to Mellow Mushroom for Pizza for dinner. SO good. We were going out to a pedal tavern after that which you bring your own alcohol to. However, you can’t take your own alcohol into restaurants but it was pointless to go to dinner and go back to the house and then out to the pedal tavern. We shoved our alcohol into gift bags that were our party favors for the weekend. I really don’t know why the staff didn’t notice but that’s okay :)

We booked our pedal tavern through Nashvillepedaltavern.com It was affordable and a ton of fun. We chose The Broadway Route, which probably wasn’t our best choice since it was a Saturday night. We didn’t get to move a lot and it was extremely hot. I think I sweat everything out as I drank it. We made a playlist, we danced, we sang, we drank, and had tons of fun. When we were done they dropped us off on Broadway- this is important to note if you go, to know, that they don't take you back to the rental place where you started. But this was perfect because we wanted to go bar hopping after the Pedal Tavern. Again the alcohol carrying was the problem here. We overpacked alcohol and had plenty left over when we were done. Especially because we went and drank at bars beforehand. We ended up giving away our extra alcohol to random people on the street because it would've taken forever to take it back to the house and you can't carry it into bars. We were probably out quite a bit of money at that point in alcohol but it was worth it to not go back. We went to Jason Aldean’s bar where there was live music which of course we all love. I was way too tired to stay out after that bar, so I took the bride’s mom home. We almost got on a Chippendales Party Bus but decided against it. But if that's your cup of tea, just know, it's out there.

I have taken a separate trip to Nashville and some other places we checked out are worth mentioning. We drove two cars from our AirBnB (within a 10 minute drive) and parked in a parking garage that gave us easy access to walk around and explore. We went to a really cool bar called Honky Tonk Central off of Broadway. We had some strong moonshine drinks there and enjoyed good live music. For country music fans, I highly recommend the Johnny Cash Museum. After that we walked across to the Florida Georgia Line bar which was perfect to be outside on the rooftop with friends, again, they had live music. I think anywhere in Nashville, you’re going to find live music. Other friends have recommended Acme Feed & Seed and the Tin Roof. It's definitely a city you want to spend a few days in and really explore all the city has to offer. I feel like I need another trip, and soon!

I've linked our air bnb if you have a group and are considering going!
